After rocking America and the World during his 1st term, what Trump is doing to America and the world now, during his second term, is subjecting a perfectly working system recklessly to disruption & extreme turbulence without any safeguard measures or alternative mechanisms in place. It is akin to what Boeing's leadership did to the company for over 2 decades leading up to & culminating in the 737MAX crisis, i.e., relentless pursuit of profits even with reckless & dangerous pursuits while compromising & undermining the long term future to serve the avarice of the stakeholders. Trump is effectively sabotaging & undermining a decently working system while also scuttling America's clean energy technologies-led energy transformation while effectively regressing back to fossil fuel dependency for the economic gains of the American oil & gas industry moguls & their shareholders who were the primary donors to his 2nd presidential election campaign in 2024.

The U.S. national debt has ballooned & has almost doubled from $19 trillion at the end of Obama era in 2016 to a massive $39 trillion in 2026, within a span of just a decade, with 6 out of those 10 years being Trump Presidency years. Further, the annual interest payout on that debt is around $2 trillion, which is even more than the entire GDPs of most nations in the world today, and is almost 40%+ of the U.S. Government’s annual revenues of $4.5 to $5 trillion.
Amid this stark financial reality, Trump is pushing for a $1.5 trillion defense budget request for 2027 and planning an exotic missile defense shield, in the form of Golden Dome, which is projected to cost $1.2 trillion to the taxpayers. Further, Trump is also taking away access to affordable healthcare & green energy support for ordinary Americans amid surging cost of living caused by his unnecessary war on Iran while conning taxpayers' hard earned money via ingenious funds & schemes like anti-weaponization fund for the Capitol Hill rioters & DOJ deal to secure immunity for his financial frauds besides economic offences like insider trading, thus, filling his own & family’s pockets while effectively compromising the overall future of the nation in the name of MAGA with Trump, reportedly, having made $6 billion so far through the course of the first 17 months of his second presidency.
Trump, with his policy choices & actions, thus, is acting much like an anti-Robinhood figure & character who is actually ensuring extraordinary gains & windfall profits for himself & his family, the American oil & gas moguls, ultra rich, elites & his campaign donors at the expense of millions of ordinary Americans while he openly says that he doesn't care about the financial situation of the ordinary Americans in economic pain at all while sarcastically pushing hard, almost simultaneously, for his White House ballroom which is likely to cost almost $400 million to $1 billion...And that's because his loyalties still lie with his financial donors who funded his Presidential election campaign & in ensuring their economic interests rather than the well-being of ordinary Americans who actually voted him to the White House in a structurally flawed system lacking guardrails.
On a concluding note, it has been aptly said, A leader who divides & conquers eventually ends up ruling a wasteland, and if Trump doesn't mend his ways now, that is exactly where America & the West is headed and that will really be a moment of shame for the 47th President of the world's oldest democracy who has already & deservingly been labelled as the "worst President ever" in U.S. history by the media...
