"Oppenheimer is History, Nuclear Weapons are Not: Make Nuclear Weapons History"

In wake of Christopher Nolan's Hollywood Blockbuster, Oppenheimer's multiple nominations for this year's academy awards, to be held on March 11; Nuclear Threat Initiative, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit, nonpartisan global security organization focused on reducing nuclear and biological threats, has launched its media campaign titled, "Make Nuclear Weapons History", targeted at complete obliteration of nuclear weapons from Planet Earth. The campaign also includes the theme, "Oppenheimer is History but Nuclear Weapons are not", in addition, to an open letter from the Hollywood celebrities sharing their concerns about the threat posed by them to an existential threat to the entire civilization. The campaign also mentions: "The “For Your Consideration: Make Nukes History” campaign is taking place across Los Angeles and includes, in addition to billboards, a mural in West Hollywood and more than 1,000 street posters, proclaiming “Oppenheimer Started It, We Can End It” and “13 Oppenheimer Nominations; 13,000 Nuclear Weapons” to underscore the nexus between the Oscar-nominated film and our collective responsibility to build a safer world."
